In podcasting, Show Authoring is the process of assembling show assets, ideation, and source material into the proper logical production workflow, process, and timeline, to yield a final end product. The end product refers not only to the final audio episode of the podcast, but a companion video episode, writing, metadata, and associated digital content related to the episode.

On a show-level: the development of the podcast itself and its official launch; gathering assets and source material in order to create the Show Identity via our Capture process; the end product of which is a fully published and cataloged podcast.

On an episode-level: the production process of each episode on a recurring weekly (or other) basis; recordings, artwork, information, notes, and otherwise; the end product of which is a completed episode to be distributed on the podcast feed and associated channels.

Our Show Authoring process is rigid enough to be reliable, and also flexible enough to be tailored to the systems you already use. We believe you shouldn’t have to rewrite the entire playbook when you start a podcast. We adapt natively to your team’s processes and incorporate them into our assembly line.
